Envirohubs Aotearoa is a collective of 22 environment and sustainability centres throughout the country. Having run smartphone video DiY workshops over the years at his local hub the Waiheke Resources Trust, Baz decided to offer free/koha sessions to all of the hubs. Roadtrip #2 is planned for Spring of 2026. Feedback and outcomes from some of these sessions below.

A huge thank you to Baz for such an engaging and practical workshop. It’s given us plenty to get stuck into and will really help us grow our storytelling and, ultimately, our impact. The workshop was great! Do not miss it! Baz has a super fun and engaging energy and the workshop was ALIVE and DYNAMIC with enthusiasm and CREATIVITY.
We had 16 participants from 10 different local groups/orgs. with very different experience levels. Baz managed to keep everyone engaged, following through, and learning, whether they had no experience at all, or were already making videos for social media for a while, but needed some very useful tips, tricks or better foundational skills.
The workshop will definitely benefit many of us going forward.

Carterton Community - Garden to Table - Rohan
As the Comms Lead at a not-for-profit I found Baz's one day workshop really valuable. Within the first few minutes we were plunged into hands-on learning with an example story. This inspired some amazing creating and editing throughout the day and I was blown away by what we were all able to achieve in such a short time. Baz's teaching style is really warm and down-to-earth filled with endless gems of knowledge applicable to a wide range of roles, skills and purposes. 
Baz followed up this workshop by meeting my team online and offering support for gathering video content for our nation-wide not-for-profit. The team learnt so much and are feeling empowered and inspired to try their new skills.

Southland - Nick
We were so lucky to have Baz come all the way down to Southland to help us learn about digital storytelling. Baz presented a workshop that packed a heap of super useful information into a fairly short time; everyone had a blast and learned heaps. Attendees ranged from a 15-year old digital native to some fairly tech-shy older folks but everyone was engaged and supported to feel successful and ready to go on and make short videos. Everyone raved about how good the class was - Baz is a brilliant teacher who shares his knowledge and passion in a warm supportive manner. We
